Coastal ICF Construction Services Inc. parent company was founded in 1978 and has worked with individual owners and developers of commercial, assisted living, skilled nursing, multi-family, and residential construction projects throughout the state of Florida. We are active with projects in the Tampa Bay area to include Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Dunedin, and all of Florida counties including Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Hernando, Manatee, Gulf, Bay, and Franklin.

We are experienced in high end finishes and we specialize in energy efficient and environmentally sound designs including energy independent projects. We participate and encourage participation in the Florida Green Building Coalition. In fact, all our projects qualify for the Gold level of certification without any modifications.

With over 40 years of experience and hundreds of successful projects across the state of Florida, we encourage technological advancements to enhance the living and working environment. Coastal ICF Construction Services Inc. is a veteran owned company. Our management team has a total of 115 years of combined experience building over 375 assisted living and memory care facilities, numerous hospitality industry projects, medical office building, 55+ senior independent living projects, and hundreds of residential and multi-family townhome projects.

We understand energy efficiency, energy independent and hurricane restive construction. Our team has a track record and experience in building in some of the highest wind velocity regions in the state of Florida. Our structures located within 5 miles of the eyewall of Major Hurricane Michael on October 10th 2018, experienced winds in excess of 200 mph without suffering any structural damage.

Coastal ICF has also teamed with a successful design/architectural group and offers the services of structural, civil, and mechanical engineering to provide a totally integrated design/build concept to our clients. Our team can take your project from concept to completion.

what is icf?

We are proud leaders in the state of Florida in Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) construction projects. ICF is a construction method utilizing steel re-enforced concrete to build exterior walls. We have completed over 200 ICF projects in commercial, multi-family, assisted & independent living and residential construction projects.

We were the general contractors that built the “Miracle House” in Mexico Beach Florida that has been featured on all national media networks and sites. This home survived a direct hit from Major Hurricane Michael with winds exceeding 200 mph.

Ask us about the superior structural strength and highly energy efficient aspects of ICF construction. Building constructed using the ICF method use less than 70% of the energy consumed to heat and cool when compared to a conventionally built and insulated structure.
